Job Description:
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure monthly days off are assigned
- Assist in staff planning and crewing level recommendations; and
- Analyze future schedules for crewing and budget impacts;
- In conjunction with the Pilot and Inflight training departments assist in the development and scheduling of all classroom, ground, and simulator training;
- Attend planning and scheduling meetings;
- Build monthly crew rosters according to the CARs, COM, FRMS and Collective Agreements
- Enter monthly schedules into the operating system
- Such other duties as assigned by the company from time to time.
- Ensure that aircrew vacation is allocated annually by being responsible for the preparation, dissemination and collection of the vacation bid package;
- Build monthly pairings in compliance with Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), Company Operations Manual (COM), Fatigue Risk Management System (FRMS), and other policies and procedures as applicable;
Job Requirements:
- Ability to work in stressful environment and manage multiple tasks effectively;
- Excellent interpersonal communication, organizational and time management skills;
- Demonstrated knowledge of the CARs;
- Intermediate level of proficiency using Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Clear criminal record check; and
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without restriction.
Qualification & Experience:
- Completion of high school or equivalent;
- Three years of experience in a similar role, previous aviation experience is considered an asset;
