Job Description: We have a brand new opportunity available for a Strategic Intelligence Analyst to join our Security Operations function based at Radbroke Hall, Knutsford. In this role, you will be responsible for synthesising vendor intelligence, external partner intelligence, open-source reporting and information from peer financial institutions to identify and analyse the top threats to Barclays, enabling improved resource prioritisation and proactive remediation of controls gaps – and ultimately, enhanced security for the organisation’s network, customers and clients. Job Responsibilities: Analysis (quantitative and qualitative) of multiple sources of information (including internal data, intelligence sources) to provide timely, actionable intelligence and reporting Report on findings through written mediums to a wide variety of audiences, ranging from highly technical teams to executive management. Provide research support on cyber threat intelligence for customers in Cyber Operations, Security Assurance, and the Red Team Help cultivate relationships with a wide range of internal stakeholders and external partners, officials and peers, to integrate intelligence into business practices supporting the Intelligence Driven Defence (IDD) of the organisation Review multiple information sources (including internal, open source and closed source intelligence) to identify emerging threats and TTPs Support the development of high-quality analysis on trends and control gaps across cyber network defence, cybercrime and insider threat Collect internal and external datasets for strategic analysis using automated techniques (e.g. scripting, programming) – desirable, but not required Job Requirements: The successful candidate will have experience in government, military/law enforcement, or corporate/financial sector intelligence and threat analysis Able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with clients, customers and colleagues Knowledge of Barclays (or other financial institution) internal systems and procedures – preferred, but not required Knowledge of the cyber threat landscape, including threats arising from nation-state and criminal groups, and an understanding of attack vectors including social engineering, malware, and denial of service attacks Excellent time management and planning skills, with experience of working under pressure Qualification & Experience: Experience in internal or external customer relationship management Knowledge of enterprise security architectures and the principles of network security Job Details: Company: Barclays Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Functions: Other Information Technology Management Job Location: Knutsford, GB Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here yours-vacancy.net
