Job Description: You will play a key role in the transformation of the internal audit and the risk management framework as we transition to a fully embedded “three lines” risk management strategy across the business. This will be facilitated by the implementation of SAP GRC enabling real-time risk and control monitoring and aligned assurance. Job Responsibilities: Engage with the functional senior management teams and risk managers to ensure functional risks are discussed and assessed on a regular basis. Management of Functional Risk Registers Attend functional board meetings to discuss and present on risk management to the functional leadership teams. Support the Asda Internal Audit senior management team in developing a risk based internal audit plan that addresses the key risks to the company. Supporting the quarterly enterprise risk assessment process. Enterprise Risk Assessment Support Board Meeting Support Lead, manage and deliver internal audit reviews to ensure the audit plan is delivered in a timely basis. Taking on a leading role in providing governance and risk assurance to the business on business transformation and change projects. Support in developing, establishing & operating a “Three Lines” assurance model within Asda. Support in preparing audit management papers for the Executive Board and Risk Management Committee meetings including audit summary reports, audit plan status reports and audit action reports. Job Requirements: An ability to deliver at pace in a complex and ever-changing environment Excellent business partnering and communication skills Retail sector experience would be advantageous but not a pre-requisite. Be curious and interested to learn and develop Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential with the ability to draft engaging and impactful reporting for the Board and other key stakeholders You will be an audit professional with a track record of creating value through assurance and advisory engagements. You will lead by example and do the right thing whilst being open, honest, and accessible.
