Job Responsibilities: Assist in implementing policy and the execution of the operating plan. Supervise TY&E employees and plan daily train and switching operations consistent with safety and efficiency. Conduct operations tests and safety meetings. investigate accidents and injuries. Monitor and control costs to meet goals. Insure compliance with BNSF's equal employment policies, safety and operating rules, schedule agreements, and government regulations Job Requirements: Prior terminal and/or road operations experience is preferable. Designated Supervisor Locomotive Engineer (DSLE) certification preferred. Supervisory experience is preferred. Knowledge of federal regulations (OSHA, EPA, FRA, and EEO) is preferred.
