Job Description: The Coordinator will develop a deep understanding of unit costs in the onboard experience department to champion a consistent onboard experience with accurate billing. The coordinator will provide input throughout the organization for cost savings opportunities. Job Responsibilities: Provides regular updates and reports outs on product cost budget Recommend changes and improvements to product offerings based on billing, performance and constraints Review and process invoices for accuracy and accordance to menu specifications and menu costing Review flight schedules to ensure accuracy in flight level billing Liaise with product suppliers to ensure timely deliveries of airline owned products and ingredients Review menu pricing in relation to historical data and market pricing conditions Forecast new and existing product orders based on flight schedule and usage, as needed, for specific regions. Seeks out opportunities for cost savings and consistency to further develop the Customer Maintain a thorough understanding of all JetBlue food, beverage and amenity products and catering procedures, ensuring billing is accurate Maintain relationships with key stakeholders in catering locations to provide training, coaching and on-site corrective action to uphold JetBlue’s standards Occasional travel to JetBlue’s catering stations to visit Business Partners Review and understand recipes, methods, ingredients, yields and pricing Other duties as assigned. Monitor and provide corrective action to business partners in relation to product costs Provide support and billing/costing expertise to the Product Development team Job Requirements: Strong organizational skills, One (1) year financial or invoicing experience Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing information quickly. Represent a commitment to service excellence. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook. Available for occasional overnight travel (10%) Strong team building and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently, under minimal supervision, in a team environment. In possession of valid travel documents and the ability to travel in and out of the United States Ability to keep tight deadlines. Bachelor’s Degree. Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test Ability to work on several projects simultaneously. Ability to develop and create ad hoc reports as required.
