Job Description: We have a wide variety of career opportunities around the world — come find yours Job Responsibilities: Coordinate, develop and deliver all planned and unplanned maintenance requirements for the facility maintenance needs in the hub environmentCoordinate daily workload requirements between internal and external departments ensuring required paperwork, materials, tooling . and manpower are made available to minimize operational impact of facility maintenance requirements. Monitor and manage BHS and BMS systems providing time critical communications and coordination in reactive and preventative maintenance needs. The coordinator must be able to use all the tools and resources in place to disseminate and provide clear, concise and accurate information and direction to a large staff in an effort to keep the BHS functioning properly and direct maintenance activity needed within the facilities. Monitor and use Cristplant, Rapistan and Control Touch, baggage Operating systems Determine the necessary actions required when prompted by the Maintenance Information Systems (MIS) Track and report baggage and customer operational data using Crisplant, Rapistan, Control Touch and Shares Load flight schedules flight into Control touch operating system Add/delete and adjust flights to active flight tables Retrieve, sort and organize flight schedules and prepare pier sheets Prepare baggage system reports: hourly, daily, monthly and annually Track and document mishandled bags that cause system jams Make required Decisions and implement changes within the system when needed during irregular operation Dispatch Facility Maintenance throughout the baggage system to resolve system issues Provide Training in the use of the Allen Bradley VersaView 1200, Electronic Keyboard Key Pad, Symbol Hand Held Bar Code Scanner (Manual Encode & Transfer Lines Evaluate current and future planned workloads for required resources to optimize man-power, and facilities to support future flight schedules Manage future planned maintenance yields and station man-power performance for optimal utilization of available station resources while maintaining focus on reliability, cost and daily operational performance and implement changes to improve efficiency Build and maintains a professional relationship with all Department at EWR airport , including Facility Maintenance, Bag Room and Customer Service Maintain communication between SOC, Facility Maintenance, Customer Service, Ramp Service and other regarding all major issues Job Requirements: High school Diploma 5 Years Airport Experience- to include airport operations,SOC_Hub, Ramp Services and customer Service operations Proficient in Unimatic/Shares, Microsoft Office to include(Word,PowerPoint,Outlook, Excess & Access) Understand and implement pier tag operation in case of a system failure. Knowledge of Manual Encoding and transfer line scanning and operating Understand the basis operation of the EWR baggage belt system.
