Job Description: The purpose of this position is to provide structural engineering design of Publix retail prototypes and serve as an in-house corporate structural consultant on all structural issues, including non-retail related offices, Manufacturing, Distribution and other Publix properties. Job Responsibilities: Participating in the design and production of construction documents for new prototypes and site-specific projects Reviewing shop drawing submittals for all new stores and related testing and inspection reports Reviewing the work of the structural engineers for completion and compliance with Publix standards Participating in the signing and sealing of structural related documents Job Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Structural Engineering At least six (6) years of experience as a Structural Engineer Must be licensed in the state of Florida as an Engineer Knowledge of proper building design processes and technologies Knowledge of building codes Structural engineering skills Ability to draft in various CAD programs Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written Organizational skills Time management and scheduling skills Willingness to travel to onsite locations Ability to work a variable schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Qualification & Experience: Ten (10) or more years of experience working as a Structural Engineer NCEES (National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying) member Ability to be registered by comity as a Structural Engineer within the states Publix operates Job Details: Company: Publix Careers Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Pensacola, FL, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here yours-vacancy.net
